Students have to activate their policy once they arrive in the country. It is also advised that the details, specially the email address entered on the application, are the student’s details. This is to ensure they receive all the notifications from the insurers. The activation process will require the student’s residential address for the card to be mailed to them. Once the policy has been activated, it usually takes 7 to 10 business days for the card to be delivered.
